Pedodontics deals with the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases inherent in the oral cavity that can affect the pediatric patient (from 2 to 16 years). It deals in particular with caries on milk teeth (deciduous) and with intercepting any malocclusions. Pediatric treatment can be preceded, when necessary, by approaching sessions that allow the child to get used to and familiarize himself with the medical environment.
